This worked GREAT. I added a 36 inch piece of clear hose from Lowes and it pumped from the 5 gallon gas can into the high truck fillet in 3.5 min. Setting the tank higher than the inlet it took 2.3 min. I am 68 and these tanks are hard to hold up and slow to drain. It's just as fast with this pump. I will use this for my boat, cars, truck lawn tractor and mower, pressure washer andgenerator. I usually always spill som gas but didnot with this. Just turn off switch and let gravity drain gas out of pump.
I used this to pull from my generator and gas cans to my vehicle. It did the job with no problem. I will recommend this highly over the old fashion way of mouth siphon.
I first saw this contraption in a YouTube video being demonstrated. I hemmed and hawed before pulling the trigger and grabbing one, and boy I'm glad I did. While it looks somewhat phallic, it does a fantastic job in pumping gas from your red fuel jug (you know, the one with the pain-in-the-butt safety nozzle) into your motor's fuel tank. I use it on the lawnmowers. Not that I'm a weakling or anything, but who wants to hold a full five gallon jug of flammable liquid while they fight with a safety nozzle to drip some gas in. With this thing, you stick the black end into the red jug, put the flexible white hose into your motors gas tank, then flip the switch. Gasoline pumps at a moderate rate, and then the flow stops instantly when you flip off the switch.
Better than I expected. Fast and easy to use. I needed to remove the gasoline tank on my power washer. Of course, I needed to empty the tank first. The Terapump did a nice job and was much faster than I expected. I highly recommend this product. I would buy again.
